Dr. Nate Oglesbee

Dr. Oglesbee is a 1978 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. He has served as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and strives to maintain and constantly update his skills. His other interests include an active involvement in church and community. He likes to sail and flower garden. He began running in recent years and has completed (survived) various races, including the Sunburst Marathon. He and his wife, Pam, enjoy traveling and playing with their four grandchildren. Dr. Oglesbee is a member of the American Optometric Association. He speaks Spanish (if you don't go too quickly).


Pam Oglesbee, Frame Buyer, Consultant

Pam is married to Dr. Oglesbee (still likes him). Pam has developed special expertise in the areas of frame styling and selection. She is especially gifted in doing special searches for difficult-to-fit patients. Until recently, she managed the office and although she has reduced her time there, it is her desire to make every patient feel special and understand how important they are. Her other interests include singing in the church choir, traveling and visiting with her two sons,playing with her beloved grandchildren, and enjoying her yorkie, Sassi. Rob the oldest son is an electrical engineer working for the Chemistry Department at Purdue University. He and his wife, Anne, live in West Lafayette and have two older children, Keith and Sefia and a new set of twins, Rachael and Lauren. Eric the youngest son is a professor of Linguistics on staff at Bethel College. He and his wife Lisa Joy, and their two children,Ian and Tobin live in South Bend,IN.


Robin Walter, Office Manager,Insurance Specialist

Robin and her husband Christopher moved to Nappanee from Valparaiso, Indiana. Christopher is an attorney in town and they have two daughters, Kennedy and Paige. Robin is an Indiana University graduate with a BA degree in economics and psychology. She enjoys running, working out, and playing with her kids and dog.


Rhonda Hochstedler, Technician

Rhonda is originally from Ohio, but stayed in this area after graduating from Goshen College with a BA degree in Social Work. She and her husband, Doug, live on a farm between Nappanee and Wakarusa. They have two children, Kristen and Derek. She spends a lot of time gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and working with the youth at church.


Pam Gerber, Technician

Pam has been with our office as a pre-test technician since 2003. Her husband, Louis and she have two married daughters and a married son. In addition, she has the privilege of becoming a grandma! Pam's family, friends, and church take up a lot of time. At church she really enjoys singing in the choir and serving in women's ministries. In her free time she enjoys spending time on the lake, cooking, having friends over, and scrapbooking.


Tracy Bussard, Doctor's Assistant and Scribe,Technician

Tracy is married to Brian and they have two teenage children, Zachary and Kaylyn. Tracy has great fun cheering for their children at various sporting events and enjoying Kaylyn's violin playing in an orchestra. In her "spare" time, she loves to swim, bike, and run (having participated in a few sprint distance triathlons). She and her husband also enjoy scuba diving in the small lakes locally. Attending Nappanee Missionary Church, she has been involved in several mission trips, including an orphanage in Kenya.


Erica Kuhn, Receptionist,Technician

Erica is married with three daughters, Madison,Sydney,and Kennedy. In addition to her work with us, she teaches Wa-Nee Bible Release Time for students at Woodview Elementary. She attends Wakarusa Missionary Church and is involved in teaching "Power Source". Spending time with her family, working out, and hiking are special interests.


Wendy Johnson,Technician,Scribe

Wendy grew up in Fort Wayne but has lived in Nappanee for over twenty-seven years. She and her husband, Rob, have two children. Brett is a graduate of Purdue University and Taryn is attending Bethel College. In her free time Wendy enjoys playing golf, attending her daughter's tennis matches, and going to her son and husband's band gigs.


Christy Harrold,Receptionist

Christy grew up in Nappanee and graduated from Bethel College in 2012 with a degree in Communication and Public Relations. She married her husband Kevin soon after graduation and is enjoying life as a newlywed. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and is active in the young adult program at Nappanee Missionary Church, where she also volunteers with junior highers. Her hobbies include writing and graphic design.
